To celebrate the end of a wonderful year, our D (Year 9) pupils, parents and staff gathered together on Saturday 27 June for D Graduation Day.
Head of D Owen Morris commented: “D Graduation was a fantastic event celebrating the amazing progress our Ds have made throughout their first year at Bryanston. It was the perfect chance to reward those who have committed themselves to improvement and also those who have excelled in their academic pathways during the year.”
Io T and Zach C presented and hosted the event, and six excellent performances were delivered from a variety of acts to demonstrate the performing talents of the year group. Amelia W performed ‘Je Te Veux’, Libra Z performed ‘YoYo’, D Street Dance performed ‘Crazy’, Zach C performed ‘Tarantella Twist’ and D Band performed ‘Let Me Entertain You’.
The afternoon culminated with the awarding of internal scholarships, presented by Head Richard Jones. These were awarded to Amara G, Tabitha E, Hattie C, Scarlett L and Fred C in Academics, Jago O’D and Io T in Sport and Amelia M and Zach C in Performing Arts.
Owen added: “I’d like to thank all of the Ds for their efforts in all areas of school life this year and wish them the best of luck moving into C in September.”
