Bryanston Prep gathers together in celebration of annual Harvest Service

7 October 2026

The wider Bryanston Prep community gathered together in the Orchard on Friday 2 October for our annual Harvest Service.

Giving thanks for all the food provided by the land, celebrating Harvest teaches early years children where their food comes from, the changing of the seasons and the importance of community sharing.

Friends of Bryanston Prep provided mulled apple juice and cold apple juice. All of the apples came from Bryanston’s Orchard and were then pressed locally.

Our Year 8s delivered beautiful readings and everyone joined together to stand on the stage. Pre-Prep and Year 3s sang group pieces, alongside our Year 3 and Year 4 Choir / Years 6-8 Choir singing hymns to celebrate.

Our Forest School helped pick the apples in the Orchard, and our catering team prepared vegetable soup and apple crumble for dessert, all from fresh ingredients grown at Bryanston Prep.

Donations raised from the event will go towards the Blandford Food Bank.
