Celebratory book to mark 100 years of Bryanston

"Let us rejoice in the fact that here, in this very lovely place, we have a heritage given us where the very finest and best things can grow and develop, so that when the time comes for us to depart into the wider sphere of life we shall be able to say quite sincerely - it was good to have been there." Saga, Christmas 1928

As Bryanston approaches its centenary in 2028, we are thrilled to announce an archive-led publication that will bring the school’s rich history to life.

With the expertise of former Second Master Peter Hardy and involvement of the wider Bryanston family, we have created a celebratory book that captures the essence of Bryanston School through 100 carefully selected objects and themes – Bryanston’s treasures.

It is more than a book – it is a celebration of the culture, ethos, and spirit that has shaped Bryanston for a century. The beautifully curated volume weaves together stories of our past and present, and looks to our future, inspired by the memories and experiences of Old Bryanstonians from across the generations.

By pre-ordering your copy in advance, we invite you to include your name as one of our valued supporters in this celebration of Bryanston’s history.

‘This has been a fascinating journey into the history of the school, unearthing gems that have long been forgotten or overlooked with the passage of time. It highlights Bryanston’s uniqueness, our creativity and our community whilst reminding us that this is a living story which continues to inspire.’

The centenary is such a significant milestone in the story of Bryanston, and this book will be a fitting tribute to our 100 years, drawing on the nova and vetera.’
