Will McNicol picked up his first guitar at the age of six and has gone on to become Guitarist Magazine’s UK ‘Acoustic Guitarist of the Year’ (2011), one of Acoustic Guitar Magazine’s ‘30 Great Guitarists Under 30 from Around the World’ (2014) and Guitar World’s “one of the best acoustic players on the planet right now” (2021). He holds Associate, Licentiate and Fellowship diplomas with Trinity College London in Classical Guitar Recital and has released multiple critically acclaimed albums of original material both as a soloist and in ensembles.
Will has published a best-selling tutoring book and has contributed compositions to the London College of Music’s acoustic and classical guitar grade syllabus. Will has performed internationally and has delivered workshops and masterclasses around the world in France, Germany, Canada, China, Zimbabwe and Italy amongst others.
