Viola and Violin (VMT)
Stephanie Sorrentino studied at Goldsmiths’ College, London University where she graduated with a BMus(Hons) and then on to a postgraduate course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Having spent a couple of years in Hong Kong playing in the Hong Kong Sinfonietta and teaching the violin, Stephanie returned to Britain and embarked on viola lessons with the renowned Israeli violist, Rivka Golani. She freelances regularly with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and has worked with orchestras including BBC National Orchestra of Wales, City of London Sinfonia City of Birmingham Orchestra and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra as well as being a member of several chamber ensembles in the South of England.
In addition to her performance career, Stephanie is passionate about teaching both violin and viola. She is also a visiting music teacher at Forres Sandle Manor and Hanford.
