Simon Ridley

Senior Deputy Head - Operations, Co-Curricular and Partnerships

Simon joined Bryanston Prep in April 2022 as Deputy Head.

He started his career in education as a gap pupil at a local independent school, before becoming a Year 2 teacher at Merley First School in Wimborne.

From here he progressed from a KS2 teacher to subject coordinator at Ballard School, New Milton, before ending his time there as Head of Lower Prep. Simon has also enjoyed a professional cricket career, playing for Cork, Ireland.

Simon is passionate about developing the talents of each individual child – everyone has the ability to be brilliant and through our varied curriculum, and embracing an understanding of different forms of intelligence, our children have the very best start to their educational journey.
