OBs connect in Bangkok, Singapore and Hong Kong, strengthening regional ties

30 October 2025

Old Bryanstonians (OBs) spanning five decades gathered across Southeast and East Asia for two memorable reunion dinners that celebrated friendship, shared heritage and the growing strength of our global community.

In Bangkok, OBs from 1968 to 2008 met at the remarkable House on Sathorn. Guests enjoyed a superb meal in spectacular surroundings, with warm thanks to Apinan Poshyananda (Sh ’75) and Philippe Chappatte (Sh ’74) for their invaluable help in organising and supporting the evening. We are also deeply grateful to the W Bangkok for their hospitality, including projecting a Bryanston image across the front of the hotel for the night.

In Hong Kong, Patrick Shepherd (Sh ’99) hosted a special dinner at the Hong Kong Club. The evening marked the launch of The Hong Kong, China Old Bryanstonians Chapter, a local network designed to bring OBs together, strengthen regional connections and celebrate Bryanston’s global community.

Alongside the dinners, the region’s OB network was further energised by two informal gatherings; Singapore Drinks, kindly hosted by Ben McCarron (D ’92), and Hong Kong Drinks, hosted by Sarah de Louwere. Our sincere thanks to Ben and Sarah for creating such warm, welcoming opportunities to connect.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to these wonderful occasions. If you are interested in joining future gatherings or supporting OB activity in your area, please keep an eye on upcoming alumni communications.
