Congratulations to the winners of our A3 Trading Challenge:

⭐ 1st place – Monty H (Economics A Level pupil)

⭐ 2nd place – Zikora A (Economics A Level pupil)

⭐ 3rd place – Violet I (Business A Level pupil)

Over the final week of term, our A3 pupils have spent time in lessons running a trading simulation. Pupils were given a virtual $100,000 to invest in the following companies, some of the biggest companies on the US stock market – Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, Nvidia, Tesla, General Motors, Walmart, SpaceX, Phillips 66, Valero, Ford, Home Depot, Alphabet, CVS Health, Exxon, McKesson, Costco, Marathon Petroleum.

Pupils were allowed to trade as many times as they wanted in the timeframe, but each trade came with a $10 commission. The winning A3s made $18,970.78 return on their trades.

In addition, we have now awarded prizes to the winners of our C internal Bry10X Challenge. Floss&Co won the challenge back in the Autumn term, comprised of Bea M, Albert M-G and Celina T.

Rose Ings, Head of Business and Economics, commented: “Congratulations to all pupils that took part in our Bry10X Challenge – all of you showed true entrepreneurial spirit – from the initial concepts, pitching, and right through to running your own businesses.”
