Bronze Duke of Edinburgh practice expedition

A total of 76 C pupils took part in the Bronze Practice expedition over the Easter holidays.

We were blessed with superb weather over the two days, which made the experience very enjoyable for the pupils. There was a lot of positive feedback from the instructors involved, demonstrating that the pupils applied themselves well throughout the process. Thirteen groups were dropped at Winterbourne Kingston and made their way back along a number of routes to Bryanston School.

The boys camped below Hawker Pavilion and the girls above Cranborne House. Both enjoyed a superb sunset and a very cold night under canvas! During the second day, the routecards were written up ready for the assessed expedition at the end of summer half term.

Well done to you all.
