Bryanston OBs Play in Final of World Rugby U20 Championship
Published: 25 June 2015
Bryanston's excellent reputation in U20 Rugby continues, as three OBs reached the final of the World Rugby U20 Championship, playing for England.
Captain Charlie Ewels, Rory Jennings and Max Clark scored the tries, totting up 16 points in the final against New Zealand, but unfortunately it was not enough to secure a victory, with New Zealand winning 21-16.
Previously Rory had the honour of being 'Man of the Match' for the semi-final against South Africa, kicking 13 points against them and taking England through to the final.
Andy Marriott, Head of Rugby at Bryanston said "Bryanston have now had six of the school's former players in the last three U20 World Cup finals, a really outstanding achievement for a small school."
