Bryanston U14s become North Dorset netball champions

The U14 netball squad took part in the recent North Dorset Tournament, playing four schools in their pool and winning each match with a commanding lead: The Gryphon School 6-0, Leweston 10-2, Blandford School 12-1 and Shaftesbury School 17-1.
In the semi finals the girls came up against St Mary's Shaftesbury and in a tense contest they finally emerged victorious 7-6. The team then played Sherborne in the final and performed well under pressure, holding their game together to beat Sherborne 6-4 and secure the title of North Dorset Champions. This means that the squad qualify for the county finals, to be held in the second half of term.
Coach Roni Peck said "Many congratulations to this squad of talented girls who have performed extremely well, especially given the limited time they have had to play together".
