New Zealander rugby players visit Bryanston
Bryanston were delighted to welcome New Zealand visitors Dilworth School last week.
The Dilworth team stayed at Bryanston for three nights and played a match against our 1st XV. The visitors treated Bryanston to an inspiring pre-match Haka and went on to impress during the match with their eye-catching counter-attacking. The high standard of play encouraged the Bryanston boys to play very pluckily indeed, and they did not shrink from the immense challenge, but eventually lost 11-43. At the after-match function the New Zealand boys made a lasting impression with their accomplished singing and heartfelt group prayer. A successful and memorable visit and hopefully the start of a strong relationship between our two schools.
Dilworth School is based in Aukland and was established over 100 years ago to provide a ”fully funded boarding school education for boys from families in straitened circumstances”.
