pupils selected for Bath Rugby Senior Academy

Recently departed A2 pupils, Sam and Simon E are among seven players to have been handpicked to form part of Bath Rugby’s Senior Academy intake for the 2018/19 season.

Sam and Simon, who have been playing for Bath Academy as part of the front row for several years, have just finished their A level studies at Bryanston and now look set to have a bright sporting future ahead of them.

Both boys have previously competed in matches in their mother’s home country of Italy and Sam has featured in their U20s Six Nations campaign.

Scott Hobson, Head of Rugby at Bryanston, commented:

“Sam and Simon have not only made a huge impact on the rugby pitch at Bryanston since their arrival, but have wholeheartedly embraced all facets of school life. Well done to them both; I wish them the best of luck for the future.”

Bath Academy Manager, Andy Rock, added: “We’re proud to say that each of the players coming into the Senior Academy have all shown significant long-term potential and we want to support them all to realise their potential in the coming years with Bath Rugby.”
