Great results for Rowers at Pangbourne Junior Sculls

The boat club were in action at Pangbourne Junior Sculls on Saturday and, despite the classic Pangbourne rainy weather, there were some fantastic results.
Particular highlights of the day included:
- Anna DB came 9th in Women's J16 Single Sculls
- Angus P came 2nd in J16 Single Sculls (from over 40 entries), with Kit C coming in 4th place in the same event.
- Angus P, Kit C, JJ S and Alex A were the winners of the J16 Coxless Quads. They recorded the second fastest time of the day from over 370 boats that raced and, if racing in that class, would also have placed 2nd in the J18 Coxless Quads. This was also only their third outing in this boat and they are all new to coxless quads after racing coxed quads until now!
Thank you to the pleasing number of parents who attended, for their considerable vocal support, which was very much appreciated.
Congratulations also to Kit C and Angus P on qualifying for the J16 GB Sculling Trials in February.
