Bryanston pupils celebrate prestigious Higher Education offers

We were delighted to hear that a number of Bryanston pupils have already been offered places at prestigious institutions after sixth form.

Congratulations to the following pupils on receiving offers from Cambridge for September: Tazu W to study Human, Social and Political Sciences (HSPS) at King’s; Poppy H to study Natural Sciences at Emmanuel; and George L to study Linguistics at St John’s College. All three are very well suited to these prestigious and highly rigorous courses and we look forward to supporting them further as they work hard to get the grades they need.

In addition, Evie C has been awarded a place at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and Sophia E, a place at the Royal College of Music, for September 2017. Both musicians have made a significant contribution to the musical life of the school during their time here, performing as soloists in a range of concerts, notably at The Lighthouse, Poole, at the Chapel of the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, and at St Paul's Church, Knightsbridge. It is therefore very pleasing to see their hard work, ambition and success pay off in winning places at their first choices of music college.

Head of Sixth Form, Ian McClary, said, "It was lovely to see them accepting their offers with such humility, keenly aware of the privilege they have been given. It is so gratifying to see their efforts rewarded in this way, as it is for any pupil, whatever the course or university to which they apply, who sets their mind to a goal and strives to achieve it."

We look forward to hearing news of all the other offers flooding in to the rest of the year group over this term.
