Bryanston's Deputy Head (Academic) awarded first Zagat Global Fellowship

We were delighted to hear that Bryanston’s Deputy Head (Academic), Dr David James, has been named the inaugural Zagat Global Fellow at Riverdale Country School in New York, USA.

As a Zagat Global Fellow Dr James will visit Riverdale Country School for 10 days during Bryanston’s Easter holidays, where he will participate in classes, sessions with the Riverdale teaching staff and an alumni-sponsored panel on education.

The Zagat Global Fellows programme has been established to foster a partnership between Riverdale and various schools worldwide, with the purpose of introducing international educators to the Riverdale community and encouraging both sides to learn from each other.

Dr James said, “It’s a huge honour to be appointed as the first Zagat Global Fellow: I hope to learn a great deal about teaching and learning from this truly world class school, and to share those experiences with Bryanston pupils and staff.  The exchange will be reciprocated in June when we will welcome a member of the Riverdale faculty to Bryanston to teach our pupils, and to work with staff here on a number of projects.”
