A3 pupil wins Les Roches entrepreneurial essay competition
Over the summer holidays, A3 pupil Fiona M participated in Glion and Les Roches’ series of masterclasses on luxury, hospitality and entrepreneurship.
Having joined the masterclasses, Fiona was then invited to write a 1,000-word essay relating to the experience industry and answering the question: ‘Who is the entrepreneurial inspiration in your life?’
Writing about her own hero entrepreneurs, Fiona focused on two people from very different backgrounds that both found their calling in Asia. Mukesh Ambani, the ‘King’ of Indian business and Douglas Maclagan, who helped the disadvantaged. You can read more about Fiona’s essay entry here.
The judges commented: “Fiona penned a heartfelt and beautifully expressed essay – one that was good enough to earn her an all-expenses-paid trip to visit our campus in Switzerland. We congratulate Fiona and look forward to welcoming her to Switzerland as soon as conditions for travel allow.”
