Bryanston pupils celebrate Oxbridge success
Seven Bryanston pupils are celebrating receiving offers to Oxford or Cambridge for September 2015, three of whom are post exit applicants and so their places are already confirmed.
Head of Sixth Form, Ian McClary, said, ‘We are delighted that the hard work and dedication of these pupils has paid off and congratulate them wholeheartedly on their success.’
We encourage all pupils to apply to courses and institutions best suited to their individual strengths and aspirations: during the sixth form all pupils receive one-to-one support from tutors and subject specialists through a structured programme to help them decide on the best higher education route for them after Bryanston. While we wait to hear about offers from other universities, the Bryanston careers team are also busy organising a number of events this term for the lower sixth form as part of that structured programme, including sessions on studying abroad and the annual Higher Education/Careers Forum next week, a valuable source of information for pupils thinking about their next steps after Bryanston.
