Christmas lanterns light up the Blandford Yuletide Festival
Blandford kickstarted its festive celebrations last night with the Yuletide Festival, where Bryanston pupils were able to see the outcome of their latest community project.
Through a series of workshops, Bryanston art pupils helped Blandford St Mary Primary School create lanterns to carry in the Blandford Primary Schools’ Parade. The parade was the culmination of six weeks of work during which around 50 lanterns were made, all of them dazzling onlookers with their design and creativity. This contributed to a lovely occasion which included all the primary schools in the Blandford Schools’ Network and showed how projects like these can really benefit the community.
We enjoyed working with Blandford St Mary Primary School and look forward to working with them again in the new year.
