sixth form pupils join forces with the blandford school to plan a collaborative literacy project
Published: 24 October 2019
Three sixth form pupils from Bryanston met with pupils from The Blandford School earlier this week to plan a collaborative literacy project.
The project comprises three sessions in Blandford Library using Stephen Fry’s novel Mythos to promote reading amongst teenagers and discuss the importance of literacy in learning.
The planning session between Bryanston and The Blandford School pupils included a discussion on how best to position the library as not just a place for reading, but as a safe haven where pupils can think, create, share and grow.
The first session will take place in Blandford Library on Thursday 7 November. Ines F, Connor W and Izzy F (all A3 pupils) are proudly representing Bryanston in this project.
