Bryanston welcomes Salisbury Cathedral Choir in Choral Favourites concert
The Bryanston Chamber Choir were thrilled to join with Salisbury Cathedral Choir in a concert of Choral Favourites. A large and enthusiastic audience were treated to singing of the highest order.

The choirs’ sound joined seamlessly, so much so that it seemed as if they had been singing together for years. The joint items, Brahms – How Lovely Are Thy Dwellings Fair, Lotti – Crucifixus and Parry – Blest Pair of Sirens, received generous and sustained applause from the audience.
Conducted by Cathedral Director of Music, David Halls, the concert raised over £400 to support the work of the Blandford Community Kitchen. The Music Department has an ongoing relationship with the Community Kitchen and their mission to provide over a thousand free meals every year. Bryanston retains strong links with Salisbury Cathedral; Head of Singing Richard Rowntree is a lay clerk in the Cathedral Choir, Head of Jazz Dave Andrews runs the Cathedral School Orchestra and former Cathedral choristers Will Ings, Amy Dickinson and Beanie Bowkett all work in the Music Department at Bryanston.
