Bry30 Launch Brings Together Next Generation of Bryanstonians in London

1 May 2026

More than 60 young Bryanstonians gathered in London last night to celebrate the launch of Bry30, a new support and networking initiative designed for Old Bryanstonians (OBs) under 30 at the start of their careers or considering a change in direction. The initiative taps into a thriving global network of more than 11,000 OBs, offering a powerful platform for connection and mentorship.

Held at City of London School, overlooking the River Thames in the heart of the City, the event brought together OBs from a wide range of year groups, all eager to share experiences, and support one another’s professional development.

The evening featured a series of talks, beginning with Rupert Culme-Seymour (D ‘88) of Seeking Out Solutions, a coaching and mentoring consultancy, who spoke about the value of mentorship and the importance of drawing on the strength of the Bryanston community in particular its 11,000 global OB network. Caroline de Mowbray, Bryanston’s Director of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Employability, followed with employer insights and practical advice on job applications and standing out in a competitive workplace, particularly with the impact of Ai.

Reflecting on the evening, Caroline de Mowbray commented, “What was so impressive, and not at all surprising, was the breadth of careers represented in the room. From AI and marketing to PR, investment banking and property, the diversity of pathways our OBs are pursuing is remarkable and reflects the wide range of individuals and families drawn to a Bryanston education.”

Cameron Robertson (Sh ‘19), currently working at JP Morgan, shared his own career path, from leaving Bryanston to securing an apprenticeship, and ultimately building a career in investment banking in London. His reflections and advice offered valuable guidance to those at similar crossroads.

The talks were followed by networking drinks and canapés on the rooftop terrace, where attendees enjoyed panoramic views of the Thames on a warm, sunny evening. The atmosphere was lively, with OBs exchanging contacts, and offering support whether through mentorship or career opportunities.

Commenting on the event, one OB said, “When I talk to friends who went to other schools, they’re so impressed that Bryanston offers this kind of support well beyond leaving. I’ve already got one internship through the network. It’s unique to Bry.”

Bry30 joins the Bry Founders Forum as one of several new initiatives launched this year, aimed at supporting Bryanstonians with knowledge sharing, tailored advice and professional connections from their time at school through to their professional lives and beyond.
