On Monday, the U14 netball team travelled to Millfield to play a Sisters n Sport Bowl fixture against Millfield B and came away with an impressive 26-9 victory, securing their place in the next round against City of London Freemen’s School.
The squad was made up of ten pupils from D (Year 9) and two Year 8 players from the Prep School, who all contributed to a strong team performance.
Congratulations to all the players: Carson A-E, Juliette S, Annabel K, Charlotte S, Cecily C, Alicia B, Saba S, Bea S, Liana W, Scarlett L, Mila W and Poppy M. Players of the match were awarded to Mila and Liana.
The fixture also provided an excellent opportunity for Year 8 pupils Mila and Poppy to stretch their talents and play up at senior school level, an experience which they embraced with real confidence.
The team now looks forward to their next challenge in the competition against City of London Freemen’s School.
