Bryanston Prep pupils enjoyed a celebration of the European Day of Languages on Monday 29 September, combining learning, fun and delicious food.
The day began with a school quiz, after a classroom discussion about the importance to learn a language, the countries that make up Europe and facts about some nations.
To make the celebration even more special, catering prepared a variety of European dishes for pupils to taste during break and lunch time. The day ended with plenty of photographs, games, and smiles.
Bryanston Prep Teacher of Spanish Elizabeth Haynes, commented: “From learning new words to discovering new traditions, the children thoroughly enjoyed celebrating European Day of Languages. Language is not only a skill but also a bridge to understanding and connecting with people around the world.”
Thanks to Elizabeth Haynes and Prep French Teacher Jean-Marc Cravero for helping to co-ordinate the day.
