A Showstopping A3 Festival Brings the Weekend to Life

9 February 2026

Last weekend, the annual A3 Festival, led entirely by our Lower Sixth (A3) year group, was a spectacular celebration of creativity, colour and fun. The festival featured plays, music gigs, a brilliant fashion, dance and film show, as well as incredible art installations across the school. These transformed spaces such as the Main Hall, where sky-like stepping stones and planets were created from hula hoops, cotton wool and painted cardboard.

With a carnival-style vibe, the entire school community and campus was alive with music, energy and imagination throughout the weekend. Friday night saw the opening performances, and on Saturday morning in true Bryanston tradition the A3 year group added their signature touch by dressing up and leading the much-loved year-group conga around the fountain in front of Main School. After sports fixtures, the plays continued, before the day finished with a lively bands’ gig in Coade Hall.

Sunday brought further highlights, including the Fashion Show, an international market in the Main Hall and an afternoon music gig, followed by more theatrical performances.

While there were many individual highlights, it was the enthusiasm and commitment of the A3s, who worked and rehearsed so energetically together, that made the weekend so much fun. Boarding at its best, the whole school community was entertained from Friday through to Sunday night. Our thanks go to Mr Fowler-Watt and the rest of the Bryanston staff team, who once again helped to make the festival a memorable and uplifting experience for everyone.
