Bryanston celebrates European Day of Languages

We recently celebrated language and culture from across the world for European Day of Languages (Sunday 26 September).

European Day of Languages aims to promote the rich linguistic diversity of Europe and raise awareness of the importance of lifelong language learning for everyone. We were delighted to celebrate with our pupils and maximise the opportunity to raise the profile of languages in Bryanston.

Our dedicated catering team prepared a themed feast which included Valencian paella with rabbit and green beans (Spanish), Bratwurst with curry sauce and fried potatoes (German) and Tuscan chicken with buttered pasta (Italian).

Fundraising activities also took place in the quad during lunch break, including a book stall, photo booth, jewellery stall and a delicious cake stall.

The activities raised a total of £228 for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) and once the non-uniform day money has been collected, the total will increase.
