Bryanstonians celebrate another set of excellent GCSE results
Published: 22 August 2019
Congratulations to all of our GCSE pupils who have today received an excellent set of results, with almost half of all exams being graded 9-7 or A*/A.
There were strong performances across the subjects, including 78.6% 9-7 in Music, 75.8% 9-7 in Chemistry and 73.0% 9-7 in Biology. At an individual level, 45 pupils achieved seven or more top grades, including seven who gained eleven 9-7 or A/A* grades. One pupil had an amazing twelve straight 9/A* grades.
Bryanston’s Deputy Head Academic, Dr David James, congratulated the pupils saying: “These results are a fantastic achievement for our pupils, and our staff. GCSEs have got tougher, both in terms of content and assessment, which makes these grades all the more impressive.”
