Bryanston riders celebrate a standout winter season with Hickstead qualifications and league titles

9 January 2026

Senior and Prep riders from across the school have returned from the holiday break with a string of eye-catching results across Arena eventing and dressage, including major qualifications for Hickstead and a Winter League win.

Among the senior successes, B-R F secured a Discovery win at Onley over the holidays, while Ted K earned qualification for the Hickstead Arena Eventing finals. In dressage, Mairi S topped the podium after winning the U21 Novice Dressage Winter League.

Prep riders also made their mark, with several pupils competing across championships and grassroots fixtures.

Edward L delivered a remarkable achievement last week in arena eventing, placed in all three of his classes, an especially notable result after less than three months with his new pony.

In dressage, Max H added to the school’s growing list of winter honours by taking 7th place at the Winter Dressage Championships.

The biggest team highlight came at Moreton Grassroots NSEA, where Sofia A, Jess F, Max H, Oli S, Kit B and Aggy B represented the school. In a clean sweep of success, every rider qualified for the Hickstead finals.

With riders collecting wins, league titles, championship placings and multiple Hickstead qualifications, we are incredibly proud of the dedication shown by pupils, alongside the behind-the-scenes support from coaches and parents that helps make these results possible.
