On Sunday 2 February, Bryanston welcomed 47 young string players for its second string competition, held in partnership with Trinity Laban. The event was marked by a “joyful and positive” atmosphere, with standout performances across multiple classes and grades.
Organisers paid tribute to the teachers who supported pupils in preparing their repertoire, crediting their work as a key part of the day’s success.
Adjudication was shared between two specialists, Clare Rowntree assessed three classes up to Grade 6, while Nic Pendlebury judged the Grades 7-8 class and the Trinity Laban Award class.
