Evan M in Year 7 at Bryanston Prep has been selected to represent the Channel Islands at County Cup tennis level for the second year running.
The U12 County Cup tennis tournament takes place in Gloucester on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September and Evan will be competing.
Head of Sport at Bryanston Prep, Josie Rixon, commented: “We are all so proud of Evan and look forward to celebrating his achievements and watching his progress at the County Cup this weekend. Evan is one of only three boys from Jersey, along with two from Guernsey, who will compete as a team at County Cup.

“Last week, Evan competed in the LTA Jersey Closed Tournament (Level 3) and won the U12 doubles and came second in the U12 singles in a match tie-break. Another wonderful achievement worth celebrating!”
A unique benefit of our prep sports programme is that those who are involved in representative pathways for their chosen sport(s) join our sport scholars on our ‘Performance Sport Programme’ (PSP). Our PSP provides additional mentoring with our senior school Heads of Games, strength and conditioning training, physical profiling and education for our pupils. Alongside this, Bryanston Prep pupils have the opportunity to train and play with our senior school teams. Evan will continue to train individually and as part of a squad at the senior school alongside his competitive playing.
