Year 6 pupil creates jewellery and donates profits to Margaret Green Animal Rescue

12 September 2025

Bryanston Prep Year 6 pupil, Sadie S, had a busy summer creating her own jewellery and taking personalised orders through a local Facebook page. Sadie set up her own little stall by the family home and also sold her jewellery at a local dog charity fete.

With the money raised from her creations, Sadie replenished her stock to continue honing her skills, and also visited Margaret Green Animal Rescue in Wareham to purchase dog food and treats, and donated this back to the charity. Sadie also got to meet one of the rescue dogs that needs a new home while she was there.

Head of Bryanston Prep Dom Floyd, commented: “We are so proud of Sadie’s creative jewellery making and always love hearing what our pupils get up to over the summer holidays. Bryanston gives pupils the space and time to create, test and grow their fantastic ideas as young entrepreneurs, and we look forward to watching how Sadie’s commercial ideas develop during her time here at Bryanston.”

Dominic will award Sadie a ‘Creativity’ Guiding Principles Certificate in assembly later today to recognise her achievements.
