The Friends of Bryanston Prep, a parent-led group dedicated to building community and supporting the school, is launching an exciting programme of events as the 2025/26 school year gets underway.
The group, made up of parents, staff, and members of the wider Bryanston Prep community, plays a key role in fundraising, organising events, and supporting the school’s vision. Newly elected committee members, voted in at the start of the 2024/25 summer term, are now setting out plans for the year ahead.
“Friends is all about energy, ideas, and community spirit,” the committee said.
A busy calendar lies ahead, beginning with the first Friends meeting of the new school year on Tuesday 9 September. Highlights of the autumn term include Fireworks Night on Friday 7 November and a Christmas Fair and Gymkhana on Saturday 6 December. In the spring, a Quiz Night and Easter Egg Hunt are also planned, with further summer term activities to be confirmed.
The group also supports parents through initiatives such as second-hand uniform sales at the senior school shop, and a “Bry Prep Equestrian” WhatsApp group for riding equipment exchanges.
Each year group is represented by a parent volunteer who helps share information and keep families connected. A review of the Parent Representative system is planned for this term, giving parents the chance to take on new roles or step back if needed.
As always, the Friends of Bryanston Prep warmly welcomes any parents interested in joining the committee. For more information or to get in touch with the committee, please email [email protected].
