Pupils, staff and parents gathered for an evening of celebration and entertainment at Bryanston Prep’s Sports Dinner, which brought Years 7 and 8 together with their families for an evening celebrating teamwork and participation across the year.
Guests arrived at the main house for drinks before taking their seats for dinner. The evening opened with a welcome from Dominic Floyd, followed by a series of short speeches recognising the efforts of pupils across a wide range of sports.
Throughout the evening, pupils involved in football, girls’ hockey and rugby reflected on their seasons, with further contributions later from representatives of swimming, cricket, riding, boys’ hockey, netball, dance, cross country and athletics. The speeches highlighted the dedication, and teamwork shown by pupils across Bryanston Prep’s sporting programme.
The dinner celebrated the collective efforts of all pupils who had taken part in sport during the year. Entertainment played a major part in the evening. A sports quiz kept guests engaged between courses, with Kit BM emerging as the winner after reaching the final alongside Mr Floyd.
Guests also enjoyed a dance competition, filmed in advance and shown on the big screen. The performance by Blake, Ethan, Kit, James and Will was voted the winner by those attending.
The celebrations continued with entertainment in the Innovation Room. The evening was a wonderfully memorable night celebrating sport at Bryanston Prep.
