Bryanston’s Governors represent diverse backgrounds, comprising former pupils, parents, educational practitioners, and professionals from various fields.

This broad spectrum ensures the Council offers balanced expertise and oversees critical aspects of the school’s successful operation. It also ensures continued excellence in providing a well-rounded educational experience for all students.

Interview with Eric Benedict, Chair of Governors

Eric (OB ‘78’) was appointed Chair of Governors in September 2024, having been a Governor of Bryanston since December 2023. He is a Partner and Managing Director of Alix Partners.

He talks us through taking over the role of Chair and sharing his memories of being a pupil here and outlining how his time at Bryanston shaped his direction in life.

The interview also covers the new faces on the Governing body, with Eric explaining how the new appointments will drive the committee to ensure clear direction in all aspects of school life.
