Head of Cricket
Cricket is a sport that is globally recognised. It fosters teamwork in all aspects of the game, as whether you are batting, bowling or fielding, you need to work alongside your team mates.
It is a sport which demands a wide range of skills, including the ability to strategise before and during matches.
Our dedicated coaches help newcomers learn to play and love the game, and those with more experience to develop further.
Boys and girls of all abilities can play cricket. Our mission is to provide extensive competitive opportunities, for both enjoyment and personal growth in the game.
We run a full winter programme which provides technical and tactical support throughout the Autumn and Spring terms. These are in the form of individual and squad sessions from Years 9-13.
The Summer term provides a comprehensive and competitive training and fixture programme for boys and girls across all ages. This includes entry into county and national cup competitions.
We have highly experienced and qualified cricket coaches who work closely with pupils to develop their skills, whether beginners or aspiring professionals. Kumar Sangakkara sits on our Sports Advisory Board.
