Bryanston raises more than £50,000 in BryGiving 2025

10 July 2025

On 2 and 3 July, Bryanston held its BryGiving 2025 campaign. With gifts still coming in, so far there has been support from 151 donors raising an impressive £51,822. Most of the funds will support pupils through transformational bursaries, especially those joining Bryanston through the Royal Springboard Charity.

The money raised will fund three projects: the Bryanston Fund, the Bursary Fund and the Bryanston Rewilding Programme.

  • Bursary Fund – ensuring talented children can join Bryanston regardless of financial circumstances
  • Bryanston Fund – supporting a variety of exciting pupil-led initiatives that offer opportunities to explore passions and develop new skills
  • Bryanston Rewilding Programme – helping us restore and protect Bryanston’s nature spaces for education and biodiversity

BryGiving united the entire school community over the 36-hour event, including Old Bryanstonians, pupils, parents, staff and friends of the school. Various events and activities took place, including a staff sponge soaking challenge – in a fun twist, Deputy Head Boarding & Pastoral Claire Miller was voted by our pupils as the teacher to get sponged.

Fundraising Officer Emily Vernon commented: “Claire took it like a champ, showing great spirit and community pride. You can watch a fun video clip below and make sure you watch until the end to see a special guest take one for the team!”

There was also a pupil versus staff boat race, and Director of Development Victoria Fangen Hall joined the BryRadio team to discuss the fundraising campaign on air.

After a fight to the finish, Salisbury House finished top of the leaderboard, and as a result, the pupils are very much looking forward to a visit from the Food Truck in the Autumn term.

Emily added: “We are enormously grateful to everyone that took part and helped us raise a fantastic amount for transformational bursaries and helping to change the lives of families.”
