Applying for a place

Applications for the Sixth Form are accepted a year in advance of entry and fall into two categories – standard entry and entry via a scholarship.  We offer the following Scholarships for Sixth Form entry: Academic, Art, Music, Performing Arts and Udall (Sport). For both standard entry and entry via scholarship the deadline for applications for entry in September 2025 is 15 October 2024.

To apply for a place for your child you will need to complete a registration form and submit this along with the £250 registration fee.

For standard entry, we expect candidates to attend one of our three Test and Interview Days. For candidates applying for Sixth Form entry in September 2024 our Test and Interview will be held on Friday 3rd November, Wednesday 8th November and Friday 10th November.

For entry via a scholarship, candidates will be expected to attend the applicable Scholarship assessment day(s), further information can be found in our Sixth Form Scholarship brochure.

As part of the application process your child will sit a CAT4 test as well as undertake interviews with our academic staff, along with any relevant Scholarship assessments if your child is applying for entry via a scholarship. After completing the admissions process, our team will carefully consider your child's application to determine if we can offer them a place at our school.
