Sports & Outdoors

At Bryanston, we are not just focused on the results; we also value the process. We want our pupils to be their best, whatever their level of sporting ability, which is why pupils are afforded every opportunity to find their own interest. We want to promote a positive association with sport that lasts a lifetime.

Outdoor education is a key element in our approach and we offer an extensive programme of out-of-the-classroom experiences, such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards, Ten Tors Challenge, adventure training and Pioneering that are designed to inspire, motivate and challenge our pupils, as well as equip them with those all-important life skills.

Bryanston’s 400-acre estate provides the perfect setting for a broad range of sporting and outdoor adventure activities. Our exceptional facilities include sports pitches, equestrian centre, playing fields, tennis courts, climbing tower and sports centre. The School offers all of the core sports, plus equestrianism and rowing on the river Stour, and pupils have the opportunity to join the School’s Performance Sports Programme (PSP) which delivers a holistic personal development plan designed to support our aspiring young athletes.
