Bryanston runners set the pace at the Dorset Schools’ Cross Country Championship

Bryanston pupils put in some promising performances at the Dorset Schools’ Cross Country Championships last week, which resulted in a number of qualifications for the South West Championships.
Madie O impressed in the junior category, finishing fifth place in a field of around 100 competitors. Emily S also executed a perfect race, finishing first in the intermediate category, which also consisted of around 100 runners. Performances from Annie L (18th place) and Alice S (20th place) also highlighted the talent within the School. In the senior category, Gabi S represented Bryanston and finished in ninth place while Josh J finished in 13th for the boys’ race.
These results mean that Madie, Emily and Gabi have qualified for the South West Championships in February, while Josh has earned a place on the reserve list. Well done to all those involved.
