A great result for Bryanston’s girls’ squash team
The girls’ 1st squash team travelled to the National Squash Centre in Manchester on Wednesday to play in the National Schools Championships Plate Final.
The team got off to a great start in the round robin, winning their first match against Downe House B 4-1 and only narrowly losing against the eventual winners King’s, Canterbury. They played their final match against Cheltenham for 3rd/4th position, with a convincing 4-1 victory.
The girls produced their best squash to date, with exceptional match play under very pressurised conditions. They were committed, spirited and animated by the whole experience.
It was a fabulous experience for all involved and many congratulations on a fantastic performance go to Beth, Ellie, Georgia, Katharine, Lucy and Millie.
