Forging links with Somerset County Cricket Club

Pete had arranged a two day release from the SCCC's early season training to come and work with Bryanston cricket staff and coaches and also take a session with each of the U14, U15 and the Senior squads. His aim was to bring to the school many of the practice drills and playing techniques adopted by Somerset, so that we can implement these as pupils progress from U14 squads up to the 1st XI.

This is just the start of a continuing link with Somerset CCC. The aim is to arrange further coaching visits here at Bryanston, and to give pupils the opportunity to visit to the county ground at Taunton to receive expert coaching during the playing season and over the winter months. In this way Somerset's Academy coaches will get a close up view of the talented cricketers coming through the school now and in future years!
