The New York Choir Tour, Christmas 2016
Published: 16 January 2017
At the beginning of the Christmas holidays, 35 pupils travelled to New York for a Choir Tour.
Accompanied by Mr Emerson, Mr Haviland, Miss White and Mrs Beales, pupils spent an unforgettable week in New York City.
Pupils performed at a variety of venues, including: St Paul's Chapel, the oldest surviving church in Manhattan; St Patrick's Cathedral on Fifth Avenue, a Roman Catholic and prominent landmark of New York City; under the stars at the tree-lighting event at Brooklyn Heights, where even Santa paid a visit; and the Brook Club in Manhattan, where club members joined in with pupils singing Christmas carols.
You can read a fantastic pupil-written report, which also includes their cultural and leisure activities here.
