Bryanston pupils celebrate fantastic IB results

Huge congratulations to Bryanston’s IB Diploma pupils who are celebrating another year of fantastic results.

This year sees the school's third set of IB Diploma results and we were delighted to learn that Bryanston pupils have achieved an average score of 36 out of a possible maximum of 45. The international average point score of a diploma candidate is 30 points.

While a direct comparison is not easy, a score of 36 is roughly equivalent to four As at A level with an additional A at AS level or B in an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). Particular congratulations go to two pupils who achieved a score of more than 40: Ella B gaining 41 points and Alma OE gaining 43, placing them among the top 7% of IB pupils worldwide.

Head Sarah Thomas congratulated all the pupils saying, “All of this year’s IB cohort should be immensely proud of their achievement. As well as gaining these fantastic results, they have actively contributed to the life of the school by getting involved in the many opportunities available and having a positive impact on the lives of those around them. I congratulate them all wholeheartedly and wish them well in their next steps beyond Bryanston. I know they will continue to impress!”
