Thursday Club at Bryanston celebrates its 30th year

We are proud to maintain our long-standing tradition of hosting Thursday Club (formerly known as Tuesday Club), a small gathering every other Thursday for the older generation that live locally, providing tea and entertainment.
Last week members were serenaded by The Memory Lane Minstrels, with classics on ukuleles and kazoos. We also served sandwiches, tea and cake, and there was even a raffle.
Pioneering pupils help to set up and serve the event, and then spend the afternoon chatting with our visitors and ensuring they feel welcome.
Revd. Jo Davis commented: “We’re delighted to announce that Thursday Club is now in its 30th year. It’s been great to welcome members to Bryanston again and to help them stay connected during such a difficult time.”
