pupils complete Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award

At the beginning of the summer holiday, 18 A3 pupils took part in their Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award Expedition in North Wales.

The beautiful, mountainous environment of Snowdonia National Park provided the setting for the challenging four-day expedition. Bryanston pupils set out in three groups, carrying all the necessary equipment to walk unsupported over 80km, navigating and making safe decisions throughout. Each and every pupil on the expedition performed incredibly well, they rose to the challenge, respected the conditions, dug deep when it got tough and eventually finished in fantastic spirits.

The experiences will remain with them for many years to come and the pride they should feel for completing this great event is huge.
