A/B Bands Concert features record number of performances

On Sunday of week four, Coade Hall played host to the 2016 A/B bands concert featuring a record number of perfomances.
The bands, drawn mostly from A2, A3 and B, played an incredible breadth of music, including some fantastic original material by Archie S accompanied by Poppy H, a Police song featuring Katie B, Florentine W on drums, Sally S on bass and George L on guitar, and even a truly epic performance of the AC/DC classic Thunderstruck by an A2 band fronted by the unstoppable Max D! Debut performances of particular note included those by Imogen G on guitar and vocals and drummers Henry B, Alex F and Florentine W.
The Coade Hall team provided top-quality sound, lighting and stage management, with Tim Pennells on the desk. Wilf H deserves a special mention, as his event management was invaluable during the planning, soundcheck and performance.
The whole evening was thoroughly enjoyable and the performances were both exciting and memorable.
