The Bry Breaker Challenge

Bry Breaker Challenge

31 January–31 May 2020

Wherever you are in the world - take the Bry Breaker Challenge

Peter Hardy (PJ, PJH or Peej) will be retiring at the end of the summer term 2020. To mark his 43 years of dedicated service to Bryanstonians we are challenging you to take a breaker. The distance of a breaker is currently 1.123 miles (from Main School down to the river and back).

Peej would like to leave behind a fund to offer places to pupils who may otherwise not be able to attend Bryanston, he believes that the diverse nature of its community is what makes it so special.

So if you would like to take part in the Bry Breaker Challenge here is a quick guide to what to do:

FAQs

Where can I upload my video or photo?

We'd love to see your video or photo on our Beyond  Bryanston Instagram page, tag us #brybreakerchallenge @beyondbryanston or post on our Facebook page Beyond Bryanston.

I live abroad, can I still take part?

Yes you can! We want everyone, everywhere to join the fun. If you need help getting in touch with other OBs or members of the Bryanston family near you, beyondbryanston.co.uk is a good place to start, or, contact us! We are always happy to help.

Where can I make my donation?

Here at our JustGiving Bry breaker Challenge page. Our suggested donation to take the Bry Breaker Challenge is £5 and if you have been nominated and want to forfeit £15. This is a voluntary donation to the Peter Hardy Bursary Fund and, of course, any amount is entirely at your discretion.
US Bry Breaker challengers who wish to make a donation tax efficiently have the option to make a donation through the British Schools and Universities Foundation. Please input Bryanston School as the approved institution and stipulate Bry Breaker Challenge in the special purpose box.

What am I donating to?

All donations from the Bry Breaker Challenge will go to the Peter Hardy Bursary Fund which gives a deserving young person a world-class education through a bursary place at Bryanston.
Peej would like to leave behind a fund to offer places to pupils who may otherwise not be able to attend Bryanston, he believes that the diverse nature of its community is what makes it so special.

Where can I leave a personal message for Peej?
