Start of Autumn term in Year 10
Pupils enrol and then start to participate in activities for the skill and physical sections. Pupils will have the opportunity to take part in one term of pioneering, which will count towards their volunteering activity section.
Timescales
It will take you at least six months to complete the Silver award if you’ve already achieved your Bronze award, or 12 months if you’ve jumped straight into the Silver award.
- Volunteering: 6 months
- Physical and Skills: one section for 6 months and the other section for 3 months
- Expedition: 3 days/2 nights
If you didn’t complete the Bronze award, you must undertake a further 6 months in either the Volunteering or the longest section of the Physical and Skills sections.
