local children enjoy charity Family Day at Bryanston

A group of A3 pupils helped to plan and organise a Family Day for pupils from Mosaic, a charity supporting bereaved children.

Having chosen to support the charity at the recent production of The Witches, which raised £220, Bryanston pupils invited 20 children (who are supported by Mosaic) to a Family Day at our Sports Centre. Ten A3s teamed up with children, parents and volunteers to enjoy the bouldering wall followed by fun in the swimming pool.

Issy L (A3, Gr) said 'Having the Mosaic children at school was truly uplifting. The climbing and swimming were great fun, even for those children who were nervous at the beginning. It was amazing to see how confident they grew so quickly! It was lovely to meet the volunteers, parents and children, and I really, really hope they come back for some other activities.'

Doc Fearnley and the team look forward to welcoming them back next term.
