Summer Concert: May 2023

A wonderful evening of music was enjoyed on Wednesday 3 May when the Music Department held their Summer Concert. 

Concert Band kicked off the concert with Samuel Hazo’s Ride, followed by the Orchestra performing Holst’s Jupiter from The Planets and A2 student Evelyn C conducted Tchaikovsky’s Scene from Swan Lake. Anna S sang Après un rêve and Jasper L performed a solo guitar piece, Black is the Colour. Steel pans then performed a Rihanna medley and Big Band ended with four terrific numbers including a Guns’n’Roses arrangement!

It was super to see so many pupils involved and enjoying their music across so many ensembles.
